WEEKENDS: FEBRUARY

I'm going to introduce a new kind of post called WEEKENDS. Nearly every weekend, I do something with the people I love, because we can't sit still. Sometimes it will just be chill, like going out for drinks & good food. Other times it can get a little crazier. Basically, the WEEKENDS series will document my TGIFs to lazy Sundays around twice a month, so stay tuned.

Recently, I met up with the S.O.F.A.T. (aka the Aesop of Food & Travel), Matt, and Sean (the boyfraaand...yes he's the one hanging upside down on the basketball hoop) and we took a fatty's journey to Melrose Ave and The Grove. Actually scratch that. Sean and Matt were at Fairfax for some Nike business, and I went shopping by myself (at The Hundreds for Valentine's Day)...THEN S.O.F.A.T. met up with us, zapped us with his porky wand, and turned us all into gluttons. Part of why I love living in Los Angeles is being able to go to these world-famous places like it's nothing.
Made a stop at Diamond Supply Co. at their Fairfax location. Ended up not buying anything and took a photo of myself, in my own clothes. But I still love Diamond and their style, quality of fabrics, and of course, the artists that they support.
Then I dragged the boys to one of my favorite art galleries, Known Gallery. It's all good though cus we went to eat right after at The Grove; who doesn't love The Grove? It's got to be one of the cleanest, nicest outdoor shopping areas in LA.
I forced everyone to go to Pampas Grill with me for some Brazilian waxes food.
I LOVE Pampas. Not only is the food bomb, but the guy working the grill even smiled for my picture! Pick your sides in a cafeteria style line, then tell them what kind of meat you want. I recommend getting garlic chicken, sirloin cap, fried plantains, and collard greens. Observe closely.
Grubbin' grubbin' grubbin', we ain't slept in weeks. Fat Cudi.
After devouring all that meat, we chased it with some ice cream from Bennett's. Cabernent Sauvignon ice cream? I'm cool. Gimme some butterscotch pecaaaaaan.
Matt went next door to buy a whole box of donuts, which he ate by himself within 20 minutes. Did I mention he is a former hotdog-eating champ? Not even joking.
Of course, the best food is homemade food, so we followed the breadcrumbs to eat some before the rest of the family finished.
Pretty chill weekend right? The weekend after...not so much. Here's a sneak peek:
Gurrrrrrrl, where you goin' in those outfits?

Also, I'm working with my friend Angel and Collective Skate Shop on some good stuff, so definitely stick around because I'll be announcing it here in about a week or so. Like I said, it's hard to sit still, especially when you can see your ideas become tangible.

Take it easy and just let things fall into place...
