SNOW MONKEY

From the geniuses behind the crazy popular Kogi BBQ food trucks comes a dessert that is pretty much unknown to the U.S.: SNOW. Snow does not taste like snow cones, ice cream, nor frozen yogurt. It's EXTREMELY light & fluffy, and is not the same unless you eat it fresh.

Big ups to Kris for reaching out & inviting me over to Snow Monkey (located in Topanga Mall) for a private tasting, and shout out to Vince, Eva, and Ronnie for the hospitality.

Summertime come and you will probably hear Dom Kennedy stopping by Snow Monkey and tellin Eva that she's his watermelon snow sundae. Ayeee.

I'm not really a football person (sorry futbol fans, I meant American football) because I am strictly an NBA girl, but I sure won't turn down Superbowl Sunday. Here in California, we eat, drink, enjoy the show, then rinse & repeat. To everyone else: I hope you had an awesome Sunday!
