MASHUP

Since I took a bunch of photos in between the rap/hiphop events I've been at, I picked out a few to share/highlight what I've done in the past few weeks: found a home for a kitten named Blue, loiter at the LACMA streetlight fixtures, eat crepes at Syrup, spy on Jeffrey Campbell spike platforms, walk around Venice Beach, attend a warehouse party with Tim & Terrance where Alexander Spit performed (Hodgy Beats & Left Brain were also in attendance), and finally, play nerd with Sean.

Two more days till the weekend ... hang in there! :)

Yesterday, Matthew I went over to COLORS LA again, where Stalley & Thurzday: were doing a pre-show meet & greet. Chilled for a little bit, then rolled over to Umami to grub (food porn to come later), & then to the El Rey Theater for an awesome night with sets by Thurzday, Chip tha Ripper, and Stalley. I had a chance meet all of them (except Chip) + Casey Veggies, and I managed to look awkward in every pic, haha. I was also the only Asian around...this seems to be a common occurrence for me nowadays.

BRIAN WOOD x COLORS: LA ALUMNI RELEASE

This past Saturday, Brian Wood & COLORS celebrated the release of their collaborative collection at the COLORS store in Los Angeles. Open bar, free tattoos, Lakers vs. OKC game on, Justin Credible & Ro Blvd spinning tracks - all of this made for a good night. While Matt flipped his index finger, Thurzday flipped the bird..which inspired us to wrap up the night at Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles.

I can't believe today is hump day already...which means only two more days until Matt & I get to go see Stalley & Chip tha Ripper! I think I've been having way too much fun on the weekends..if that's possible. Everyone should be surviving the heat & getting a gorgeous tan. That's an order!
